Bulletin No. 1

32nd Brazilian National Control Line Competition


The 32nd Brazilian National Control Line / 1st Brazilian Open F2 International Competition will take place on the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th of  November 2011 at  the CDC-Modelódromo Ibirapuera, located at Rua Curitiba, 290 / 292 - Ibirapuera, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The registration details are below:

• The competition will start on November 12th  at 07:00am, and is scheduled to  finish on 15 November at 06:00pm.

• The final date for entry is October 15, 2011. Contestants should enter the competition via the FMDESP website – Federation of Model Sports of the State of Sao Paulo – at http://www.fmdesp.com.br/  or by emailing Ricardo Rodrigues at ricardofmdesp@terra.com.br.

For national competitors, the registration fee is R$ 50.00, which will be returned to the competitor at the time of their registration confirmation on Saturday November 12, 2011. This amount should be deposited to FMDESP’s bank account. Details of the account are as follows: Banco 237 - Bradesco Agency No. 2860-6, c / c 13099-0. You should confirm that you have made the deposit, via email to ricardofmdesp@terra.com.br, or alternatively by mail to Ricardo Rodrigues, Rua Curitiba, 290/292 - CEP: 04005-030 - São Paulo-SP [to arrive no later than Saturday November 12, 2011].
International Competitors: you must complete the entry form and email to ricardofmdesp@terra.com.br

Withdrawals for national competitors: In case of cancellation prior to 30 (thirty) days before the competition (October 12, 2011), a full refund of the registration fee will be made. For cancellations made between 30 (Thirty) and 10 (Ten) days (November 02, 2011) prior to the competition, a 50% refund will be given. Any cancellations made after this time will not be refunded, and no credit will be given to the competitor against future events, club membership or existing or future amounts owing.

The hosting will be free for all competitors who reside outside the city of São Paulo, with check-in for national competitors on November 12, 2011 after midday and check-out at midday on November 15, 2011. Other expenses such as the costs of accompanying parties (spouses, partners, friends, etc.), drinks, phone calls etc. shall be paid by the participant.
Please note: overseas competitors, the check-in will be available from midday, November 11, 2011. More information at http://www.lorenaflat.com.br.

• All competitors must have their respective valid BRAs (overseas competitors with valid NAC’s licenses) for 2011.

Fuel will be available for sale in the race office at the request of each participant. Please order at least 30 days before the start of the championships (i.e. by October 12, 2011 at the latest). Prices will be confirmed in the next newsletter.
• The present arrangements are for competitions in F2A, F2B, F2C and F2D; aerobatics promotional (Mini-Fai, Intermediate and Beginner). The minimum number of participants will be 5 competitors per category.

A timetable for the events will be set out in the next bulletin.
